Sharon J. Hill is the former National VP of Development of National Women’s Political Caucus, NWPC, and NWPC Georgia President continually guiding the “Run to Win,” support for all women as she champions the Equal Rights Amendment with the National and Georgia Advocacy for the E.R.A. Hill serves as Regional Voter Empowerment Coordinator, Peoples’ Agenda, GCPA, and created the “No Excuses” Absentee Ballot Initiative. Hill is Chair of the Evangelistic Outreach at Zion Baptist Church, Coordinator for Street Grace and Facilitator for the Missionary Outreach. Hill is Vice President of Cobb Faith Partnership, Economic Development Committee member of Concerned Black Clergy of Metro Atlanta, Georgia Coordinator of the Voting Rights Alliance, Founding Member, Zion Baptist Social Justice Ministry, Board Member, Amelia Boynton Robinson Village of Hope, a Charter Member of Cobb County SCLC and Political Action Committee of Cobb County NAACP, a Co-Convenor of Citizens for Governmental Transparency, Community and Communications Director of Georgia Community Coalition. The former case manager for the Cobb/Douglas County Community Service Board, VOICE and Cobb County Community Coalition for Social Change member, is the founding member, Cobb Citizens of Public Safety. A United Way CNI “Great Idea” Awardee, for “The Professional Advantage” System, Hill was a Carter Center Women’s Equality Day “Equal Means Equal” Screening Panelist. The Co-Founder of “Back to Basics” Community Interface Program with Hall of Fame O’Jay, Bobby Massey and Ret. Major Samuel F.Mosteller, Hill also created the M & M Products “Usher’s Community Service Award” and Sivad Entertainment’s “Bobby Jones Trailblazer Award.” Hill is the Co-host of the National Weekly Sunday Program promoting the E.R.A.,”The Call”, with Helene De Boissiere Swanson, founder of Katrina’s Dream and Tammy Simpkins, Co-founder ERA Action and founder, One Rural Woman.

Sharon is no stranger to the need for self-advocacy and community engagement, married to her High School Sweetheart for 38 1/2 years, she is the mother of 5 girls, one of whom was born with a neural tube defect, and is a miracle at 25 years old. Sharon has one boy and also grandmother of 3 girls and 3 boys. Nurturing a legacy of service, her children are educators, nurses, military veteran, customer service and medical administrators who all give service in community and faith leadership, a testament to family values, of being our sisters and brothers keeper.
